See above comment about GL 2: this was absolutely the *most*
unpleasant sounding recording of ALL my early Bruckner issues,
acquired not long after the introduction of stereo LPs. I preferred
by far the sound of the 1938 von Haussegger Ninth, or even the
earliest LP issues (c.1963) of Furtw's 1944 Ninth in terms of
frequency response, balance, acoustic, and even in regard to the
amount of distortion.  Others may disagree...
